Cheimstry Lab

The avant-garde Chemistry Laboratory provides a platform for students to nurture the budding scientist within them. The laboratory is furnished with latest hi-tech interactive smart boards for a virtual real life learning experience. The Lab is provided with the state- of- the art devices like- Fume hood, Distillation unit, Electronic weighing machine, Bunsen burners, beakers and flasks. Concealed gas line and the safety devices such as Firefighting equipment, First- Aid Kit etc. The acids and other reactive chemicals are stored in separate locked cupboards as a further precautionary measure. The students are provided with separate workstations with individual burners and plug points. The apparatus includes the common place strikers, mortar and pestle, clay triangles, watch glasses, crucibles, crucible tongs, chemical spoon, stirring rods, filter funnels and a variety of stoppers

Computer Lab

Well-designed and separate computer labs for kids and older children, run by a well-educated and qualified faculty, with one-on-one access, which means there is one computer for each child. Pre – primary kids learn words through PowerPoint presentations and innovative software. We have invested in new ERP software which would further raise teaching-learning-working at Udgam to contemporary technological standards. There are 200 computers in our labs currently. They are state-of-the-art with multimedia, most of them with 17″ LCD monitors that are easier on eyes, generate less heat and consume less power thereby keeping the classroom atmosphere comfortable for children. We use our own LAN with Windows XP for teaching-learning, documentation and presentations. Currently we can claim 1:10 as the ‘student to computer ratio’ on campus.

Transportations

There are many options to travel in the campus. We provide home to school transport from the agreed drop off and pick up points at the start and end of the school day. Transport is provided for eligible pupils to schools and academies, special schools, faith schools, and pupil referral units. You can apply for school transport for your child below. Bus fees will be charged for six months of the start of the academic year.After completion of six months the remaining fee is charged. Until the fees is paid, all operators have been told not to refuse travel. The pass will expire at the end of the pupil’s time at the school and should be kept for travel in future academic years.

Parking

More than 1000 parking lots avilable in the west side of the compus. The parking is available 24 hours with 24hours security. We make sure that everything is under control.

State of Art ICT Laboratories for the primary, middle and senior levels help foster technological skills. Students design websites and create software programs in keeping with international requirements.

Our state-of-the-art Physics laboratory is equipped with modern equipments to help the students learn the concepts of Physics with experiments. It is designed to give practice of taking measurements, analyzing data and drawing inferences while the students experiment. The lab is quite spacious and very well ventilated to ensure proper availability of light in it. Each of the laboratories can accommodate 32 students conducting experiments in groups of two depending on the experiment at hand.
